Roadmap & preview status
We are building a way to try open-source software on a live URL in minutes. This page is honest about what is ready today versus what is still in progress.
You are using an early preview. Expect rough edges, simulated billing in some environments, and a catalog where most apps are listed for discovery only.
What works today
- Browse the application catalog and competitor alternative pages.
- Launch a free WordPress trial (the only fully deployable app in preview).
- Create an account, claim trials, and manage instances from your dashboard.
- Size instances with the resource planner (CPU, RAM, storage) and see live price estimates.
- Try the paid-plan flow with simulated checkout when billing is in preview mode.
- Configure backups, attach domains, and send feedback or app suggestions.
Not ready yet
- Live deployment on production servers with real HTTPS subdomains for every visitor.
- Real Stripe payments — checkout may be simulated until we flip billing to live.
- Domain purchase through the registrar wizard (UI exists; live registration is still being wired).
- Launch for most catalog apps — they are browse-only until each gets a deploy template and acceptance test.
- Production-grade backup storage and restore guarantees across infrastructure failures.
- Transactional email on a production mail provider (password reset and alerts may be limited in preview).
On the roadmap
- External beta with real containers, wildcard DNS, and TLS on 1click.run.
- More deployable applications (Ghost, n8n, and others — each needs a template and test suite).
- Deploy from a Git repository — connect GitHub or GitLab, analyze the project, and launch a working environment without a pre-built catalog template.
- Live domain registration, DNS automation, and renewal reminders.
- Object storage for durable backups (S3-compatible, e.g. Hetzner Object Storage).
- Usage monitoring with alerts when an instance nears its plan limits.
- Email mailboxes for custom domains and additional languages beyond English.
